You always hear live in your truth. It sounds very easy to do, but it all honesty, it’s difficult for a lot of people to do. I am extremely sure about myself, however, I only started living in my truth roughly seven years ago. I say that to say, if you ever feel like you’re holding yourself back, please do not worry. You’re never alone in that feeling. And it doesn’t mean that you are not good enough. The only thing it means is that you have a few areas in your life that needs a little fine tuning. In this post, I will cover a few areas we can work on.
Steps to Help You – Live In YOUR Truth
There are a lot of things that keep us from living our truth. There are ways to change your mentality to help you choose yourself time and time again. I wanted to share this with you so that you, too, can slowly start to break free of the need to please others at the expense of honoring yourself.
Work on Yourself – Be willing to act where you are with what you have. Don’t wait for circumstances to line up. Pay attention to your heart, and the opportunities life is bringing you. The more scared you are, the more likely that you’re onto something meaningful.
Open Yourself Fully – When you meet new people, the more you let your guard down, the more relax they become. The more you show who you are, the more the conversation flourishes. There’s nothing to hide. No need to put a mask on. No need to pretend to be someone you’re not. The wall you’ve built doesn’t keep people from hurting you. It keeps you from living life.
Embrace Uncertainty – Stay positive and replace your expectations with plans. No one knows where we’re going. Or what’s going to happen tomorrow. All we can do is live life one moment at a time. The problem isn’t uncertainty, but your resistance to it. You shouldn’t want to know the future. You should want want to know yourself.
Let Life Flow – Resisting life is many people’s main problem. Notice that life isn’t positive or negative. Life is a blank canvas. You choose the colors. You choose the painting you want to create. This isn’t about changing your thoughts, but about changing the reaction to your thoughts.
Happiness from Within – When you change the way you view the world, the world changes. Happiness is wanting what I get. In order to be happy, I have to let go of the attachment to wanting more, or something else.
The reality is you may not always know what your truth is, but you don’t have to. All you have to do is your best. One moment at a time.
We don’t stumble accidentally into an amazing life. It takes a conscious commitment to figuring out what we stand for – finding our truth. This book will help you live in your truth.
